ABOUT ME
currently 47 yr old mom of three step mom of two grandmom to 8!
started my fitness journey in april /08 at 297 pounds. i had just had both knees totally replaced due to severe o/a and was still walking with a cane. had high blood pressure type 2 diabetes and depression was on meds for the bp/depression and morphine percocet and tylonel 3 for pain.
today i no longer walk with a cane,am currently 188 pounds am no longer on any meds, no longer have high blood pressure and managed to reverse my type two diabetes aug 09 reached new heights by completing a century ride for habitat. ran my first 5km 3 weeks agao and living life to the fullest. just got a report back on my new knees and they are as good as gold so looking to kick things up a notch :0)
Favorite Workout
has to be all the functinal workouts i have been doing lately and i box once a week!
My Personal Bests
my gold medal moment was having my family watch me cride in on my century ride! having them all there made it all worth while. my 5 yr old grandson calls me his hero :0)

at the gym but i would like to learn to take my work outs outside a bit more
