Purposes

  • Hip and trunk rotational strength and power.
  • Leg strength.

Description

  • Standing with good posture, grip the handle with both hands.
  • Squat with arms extended in front of you.
  • Stand up and laterally rotate your torso to your right side and extend your arms over your right shoulder.
  • Squat and repeat lateral torso rotation and cable extension to your left side.

ProTip

  • Make sure you pivot your rear foot to allow for a full hip and torso rotation.

Mistakes

  • Pulling the cable without rotating the trunk.
